The morning of Friday October 24th, the first day of the 2025-2026 season dawned with cool temperatures, clear skies, and light winds. These conditions carried through the three day launch, with only brief periods of wind and clouds. A huge thank you goes out to the crew that arrived early Friday morning to assist with rage set-up. The task of setting the pads, pad numbers, flag line etc. is no small one, but the crew of dedicated individuals knocked it all out in near record time and we were flying by 1:00 in the afternoon. In all, over 150 flights took to the skies over BattlePark. Rockets from 1/2A to L power, ecumpsing most every style from boost gliders, to clusters, to two-stagers, to rippin EX motors and hybrids, the variety was only limited by the flyers imagination. There were also nearly 30 TRA L1 and L2 certification attempts, congratulations to all the newly certified flyers. More detailed stats and pictures are below:
Friday October 24th: 13 low-power flights and 8 high-power.
Saturday October 25th: 45 low-power flights and 47 high-power.
Sunday October 26th: 16 low-power flights and 27 high-power.

Next up is a three way drag race with Estes Scorpios on Aerotech G74-9 motors. All three flights were 100% successful!

This one really got off the rail FAST. Eagle 2 had a great boost on an Aerotech J500 and the onboard cameras took some great shots!

Up next is a beautiful upscale of an Estes Big Daddy. This flew on a CTI L910 C-Star and marked the first flight off the away cell for the season.

The “BOMB!!!” Flying here on a D22

We saw a bunch of cert attempts this weekend. The Aerotech H73 and CTI H125 are traditional cert motors at BattlePark

This rocket called “Over the Rainbow” had a beautiful liftoff on an Aerotech I600, and a perfect recovery. Well done!
