The weather in March is typically hit and miss and March 2024 was exactly that. We had days that were windy, rain that forced us to push a launch by a week, and also weather that was downright perfect! This month saw numerous L1, L2, and L3 certifications, congratulations to all the newly certified flyers. We also saw several very impressive projects from competition teams up and down the East coast. BattlePark has become a proving ground for SpacePort America Cup and NASA SLI rockets, and we are excited to see what the students design. Also, a huge thank you to Matt, Mark, and Mike for sharing the pictures they took. Launch statistics and pictures from March 2024:
March 16: 22 Low and Mid-power flights, and 25 High-Power to include 4 M motors.
March 17: 14 Low and Mid-Power flights, and 7 High-Power. The day was shortened due to wind.
March 24: 25 Low and Mid-Power flights, and 24 High-Power.
